Dorothy Bowman Kilburn

KILBURN, Dorothy Bowman, age 79, of Dayton, OH passed away on Monday, September 12, 2011. Dorothy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kettering. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Linnie Bowman; her sister, Shirley Murphy; and infant brother, LeRoy. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Owen Ray; sons, Sammy (Marlene), Bruce (Carolyn), and Jamie (Barbara); grandchildren, Sean, Brent ( Kimberly), Kirsten, Tyler, Douglas (Jessica), Matthew, and McKenzie; great-grandchildren, Cassandra, Kyla, and James; sisters and best friends, Mildred Johnson (Fred), Mabel Palmer (Cassel-deceased), Grace Titus (Guy), other family members and friends. Family will greet friends from 11:00am-1:00pm on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH with Rev. Bob Stephenson, her loving nephew, officiating. A funeral service will start at 1:00pm also at the funeral home. Burial at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Gift’s in Dorothy’s name may be made to Graceway Baptist Church, 5010 S.
