BERNER, Dorothy D., age 94, of Kettering, passed away, Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at Lincoln Park Manor. Dorothy was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Maude Dye; husband, Philip in 1988; 3 brothers and 1 sister. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Mary Anna (Herb) Conley of Kettering; son, Philip (Donna) Berner of Centerville; 5 granddaughters: Cheryl Strine, Amy Conley, Jill (Brian) Owens, Tracy (Jay) Wagner and Susan Berner; 4 great-grandchildren; special lifetime friend, Richard Kauffman of Cleveland, OH and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 28, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with The Rev. Judith Doran officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
