age 89, of Middletown, died Sunday, August 26, 2001. She was a graduate of Tallmadge High School, Class of 1931, a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church for 61 years and active in the Beta Group. As an active member of the church sewing group, she was a principal contributor in producing 1,434 lap robes, hot pads, baby blankets and quilts that were donated to local and international missions. Preceded in death in 1997 by her husband, Chester A. Maple. Survived by her 2 daughters and sons-in- law, Joanna (Larry) Doelker of Middletown, Ohio and Karen (Bob) Pechin of Orem, Utah; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Fellmeth of Akron, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday in Westminster Presbyterian Church Chapel, 125 N. Wilkinson St., Dayton, with Rev. Kay Davis-Dudding and Rev. Doris Hill officiating. Visitation will be in the West Parlor at the church from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M., Saturday. Burial in Woodland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the local Arthritis Foundation, 7811 Laurel Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45243. Condolences may be sent to the family via the guestbook at www.routsong.com
