REMICK-BOHL, Dorothy Fay, aged 85, died after being ill since an operation for a brain aneurysm in August of 1990. During her illness, Mrs. Remick-Bohl lived at 10 Wilmington Place and Heartland of Kettering. Before her illness, she had lived in Cincinnati, Milford, Bellbrook, and later Oakwood. She was an accomplished pianist (classical), a former member of the Greene County Library Board, past president of the Bellbrook Garden Club and an avid athlete. She enjoyed golf, tennis, and bowling -- being a member of the “Women Bowlers’ Hall of Fame”. Her keen sense of humor made her many dear friends. She was the widow of Joseph S. Bohl of Milford, OH. Dorothy is survived by two sons, Dr. John E. Remick and Donald M. Remick, both of Dayton; two brothers, Professor William L. Fay of Long Island, NY, and Richard A. Fay of Hiram, OH; a sister, Joan Fay Rogers of Oaklyn, NJ; and many other relatives. She was recently preceded in death by a devoted cousin, Dr. Bruce W. Hotten of San Diego, CA in February of 2003. Private graveside services will be at Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420. The family wishes to thank Heartland of Kettering for their wonderful care of Mrs. Remick-Bohl over the last 13 years. Condolences may be sent via the website at www.routsong.com.
