Dorothy L. Cartwright

CARTWRIGHT, Dorothy L., age 90 of Centerville passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012. Dorothy graduated from Aurora High School in California, MO and lived in Ferguson, MO most of her life. She worked as an Executive Secretary for Emerson Electric in St. Louis for many years. She was a member of P.E.O. chapter HL and Ferguson United Methodist Church. Dorothy was a loving and caring mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Cartwright; son, David Cartwright; and siblings, Joseph, Brooks, Charlotte and Esther Gattermeir. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Paul (Jan Novy) Cartwright of Helena, MT, Steven (Pat) Cartwright of Centerville, OH, and Jim (Cindy) Cartwright of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Alan, Kate, Brendan, Caitlin, Maura and Colin Cartwright, Lisa Silverman and Stephanie Finkelstein; great-granddaughter, Hirut Silverman; and many other extended family members. A private graveside service will be held at the Masonic Cemetery in California, MO. at a later date. Gifts in her memory may be made to Ferguson Municipal Public Library, 35 N.
