LINGLE, Mrs. Dorothy (Dickerson), age 87, of Dayton, OH, died Monday, September 27, 2004. Dorothy was born in Hopedale, OH. She graduated from the Maumee Valley Hospital School of Nursing, Toledo, Ohio in 1936. Dorothy was a member of the Garden Club, the Progressive Mothers Club and The Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Oakwood, OH. Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Dr. M.V. Lingle, and 2 brothers, Philip and Donovan Dickerson. Survived by 2 daughters, Yvonne (James) Wiltsee, and Karen (Jim) France; son, Philip (Lilli) Lingle; niece, Sally (John) Hawkins; brother-in-law, Willis P. Lingle; 3 grandchildren, Sherry Bain, Garret and Logan Lingle; and great-grandson, Bric Bain, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caregivers at Bethany Lutheran Village. A private family burial at Glen Haven Cemetery will precede a public memorial service Friday, October 1, 2004, at 1:00 PM, at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Oakwood with Pastor Gary Eichhorn officiating. Friends may call from 5-7:00 PM, Thursday at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
