Dorothy T. Evans

EVANS, Dorothy T., "Nanny," age 83 of Kettering passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Bethany Village. Born in Bandana, KY, she was a longtime resident of Kettering and a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Dorothy was active with the Rolling Hills Garden Club, served as President of the Dayton Council of Garden Clubs, and also volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House of Dayton. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology from the University of Kentucky and remained a devoted Wildcat fan. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Carl Evans. She is survived by her children: Margaret Evans (Richard) Kuck and David Neal (Mary Lou) Evans; and grandchildren: Elizabeth and David Kuck, and Abigail and Sally Evans. Family and friends will gather at Christ United Methodist Church, 3440 Shroyer Rd., Kettering, from 10-11:00AM on Saturday, January 31, 2009, where a memorial service will begin at 11:00AM.
