Dr. Brett Lafave

LaFAVE, Dr. Brett M. age 36, of Marysville, OH passed away on Friday, February 17, 2006 at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, OH. Brett was a graduate of Woodstock Union High School in Woodstock, VT. He received his BS in Biology from the American International College. Brett also received his Veterinary Medical Degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, West Indies. He was the Owner and President of Neighborly Ohio Mobile Animal Doctor Inc. (NOMAD) for 5 years, where he and his wife provided services throughout the State of Ohio. Brett was a member of the AVMA. He was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for “The Big Fix”, from the Mayor of Columbus. Brett was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lawrence LaFave and maternal grandparents, Ray and Dorothy Seymour. He is survived by his loving wife of 7 years Dr. Laura Miller; his faithful dogs, Atresia and Zoe; parents, Mark and Linda LaFave of Barnard, VT; grandmother, Lucille LaFave of Ferisburg, VT; sister, Jessica L. Baker and her husband Josh of Barnard, VT; nephew, Hunter Brett Baker; nieces, Olivia and Madeline Baker, and Jessica Lynn Miller. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH. Family will greet friends following the service.
