Dr. Frank W. George, Ii

GEORGE, Frank W. II, D.O., M.D. (H), age 52, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Ridgecrest Health Care in Phoenix, AZ. He graduated from Alter High School in 1975, received his bachelor's degree from Univ. of Michigan in 1979 and his D.O. from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1983. Dr. George served with the United States Air Force as a flight surgeon and Chief of Medical Services in Saudi Arabia and Belgium. He went on to open a private practice in Michigan and relocated to Phoenix in 1991 where he became involved in research with Autistic children and than became the Medical Director of EuroMed, LLC and Adjunct Assistant Professor at MidWestern Univ., College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. George practiced osteopathic medicine for more than 25 years and homeopathic medicine for more than 14 years. He was the first osteopathic physician in the United States to be trained in Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT). Preceded in death by his father, Dr. Frank W. George. Dr. George is survived by his loving wife Beata; daughters, Marissa and Monika; mother Bertha "Sandy"; brothers, William, James and John; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends on Friday, October 2, 2009 from 5-7:00 PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd, Kettering, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Albert the Great Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave., Kettering. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
