Earl C. Brown

BROWN, Earl C. "Brownie", age 80, of Washington Township, went to join his beloved mother, father ( Oaklie & Beulah Brown), brothers and his angel Debbie Krynzel on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008. Earl retired from Delco Products, GM Division, in Kettering after 46 years service. He owned and operated Earl's Lawn Service for 22 years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and member of the American Legion Post # 598 in Kettering. Earl was a member of the F & AM Lodge # 482 in Farmersville, Oh, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Five Seasons Country Club (# 101). Earl is survived by his wife of 25 years, Wanda, step-children; Rhonda (Steve) VanTuyl of Minneapolis, MN, Robert Brian (Derinda) Grimshaw of Montana, and six grandchildren. Sisters; Mary Huckeby of Waynesville, OH, Anna Mae (Jim) Macpherson of Kettering, OH, Barbara Gamble of Dayton, brothers; Otis (Dot) Brown of Kettering, Ray (Doris) Brown of Dayton, sister and brothers-in-law; Lona Mae (Don) Miller of Lucasville, OH, Charlene (Don) Kapeller of Dayton, Connie (David) Lee of Lucasville, Patty (Blane) Bowles of CO, Gail (Paul) Boyer of Lucasville, brother and sisters-in-law; Rev. Sherman (Sue) Mefford and Larry Mefford of both of Lucasville and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends and will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008 at 10:00 AM the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, OH with Rev. Sherman Everett Mefford officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home where Masonic Services will be held at 7:30 PM. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Dayton, OH.
