age 81, of Springfield, OH, passed away Friday, January 24, 2003, at the Masonic Health Care Home. Earl was a lifetime member of South Park United Methodist Church and sang in the church choir. He graduated from Patterson Co-op High School. Earl was a design engineer, retiring from both NCR and SRL. He was a member of Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Stillwater Lodge F&AM, Antioch Shrine and Dayton High Twelve. Earl was an Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII. Preceded in death by his wife, Reva B. (Hall) Rupel in 1998 and his parents, Evan and Dessie Rupel. Survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Robert (Rebecca) Rupel of PA and their children, Rob and Gretchen, Larry (Gail) Rupel of Bellbrook and their daughter and son-in-law, Christy (Tony) Dalton, and Randy Rupel of Miamisburg; great granddaughter, Amaya Dalton; sister-in-law, Bobetta Rupel; and many other loving extended family members. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Southpark United Methodist Church, 140 Stonemill, Dayton, with Rev Eric McGlade officiating. Burial in David's Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Monday evening at the Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave., Oakwood, with Millennium Lodge services at 7:00 PM.
