Edith Ashland

ASHLAND, Edith, age 83, of Beavercreek, OH, formerly of St. Helen's, England, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Edith was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church for 50 years. She was a teacher in England for 6 years and worked as a sales clerk at Books & Co. for numerous years. Edith enjoyed reading and attending dramas such as plays and the opera. Preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Anthony Ashland, and granddaughter, Mallory Ashland. Edith is survived by her children, Peter (Lynette) Ashland, Antoinette Ashland, and Alexandra (Rod) Austin, grandchildren, Mackenzie and Antony, sister, Marion (Dale) Voehringer, sister-in-law, Mary Gallagher, several nieces and nephews, and beloved cats, Daytona and Rowley. Donations may be made in Edith's name to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Road, Cincinnati, OH 45206.
