Edith L. Reno

RENO, Edith L. "Edie" (Guidi), Age 85 of Washington Township, Montgomery County, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015. Edie was a member of Centerville Community Church where she accepted Jesus Christ as her savior. She was employed as a sales associate at Far Hills Office Supply and an Avon representative for multiple years where she received numerous Avon awards. Edie volunteered and enjoyed activities at Hithergreen Senior Center in Centerville, OH. Preceded in death by her loving parents Robert and Margaret Guidi, and two sisters, Mary Wood and Louise Roof. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Marlyn L. Reno. Edie was a loving mother that dedicated her life to raising her family of 3 children, daughter, Melodi L. Babb (Timothy) of Miamisburg, OH; son, William R. Reno (Lynda) of Worthington, OH; and daughter, Toni M. Roof (Douglas) of Washington Township, OH. Edie has been blessed with 7 grandchildren, Chad Robinson (Heidi) of Milford, OH; Carrie Ward (Edward Frye) of Waynesville, OH; Brett Reno of Delaware, OH; Sean Reno (Amanda) of Pickerington, OH; Jeremy Reno (Rebecca) Dublin, OH; Christina Roof of Rockford, MI; and, Eric Roof (Shannon) of Fort Mill, SC and 9 great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Bethany and Brooke Robinson, Ethan Frye, Gavin and Evy Reno, Reiley and Ryder Reno and Alaina Roof. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Centerville Community Church, 10688 Dayton Lebanon Pike, Centerville, OH 45458, with grandson Chad E. Robinson, officiating. Family will greet friends 1 hour prior to the service. A reception will be held at the church following the service. The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Hospice of Dayton.
