Edith L. Roesner

ROESNER, Edith L, age 97, recently of Kettering, OH, passed away peacefully July 16, 2014 at Kettering Hospital. She was born and lived most of her life in Cincinnati, OH where She retired from Union Central Life Insurance Company in 1982 after over twenty years of loyal service. She loved bowling, bingo, and especially playing cards. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Elsie Schmalz, her husband, William Roesner; and her son, Lee Roesner. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Edith Poole; son-in-law, John Poole; Sidney and Ava Green, grandsons, Scott Green and Jeff Green; granddaughters, Kimberly Roesner, Andrea Roesner, and Renee Roesner-Wichman; and many other loving great grandchildren and friends. The family would like to say a special thank you to all the nurses at Kettering Hospital for all their love, compassion, and support during this difficult time. A private family service will be held at a later date.
