Edna M. Wimmers

Wimmers, Edna M. age 88, of Centerville, passed away September 9, 2016. She was born November 20, 1927, in Coldwater, Ohio, the daughter of the late Frank Depweg and Catherine Bruns Depweg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Wimmers, in 1994. She loved playing cards, Mah Jong, loved to shop, enjoyed her time at the Hithergreen Senior Center, but especially she loved spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, Charles Wimmers (Donna), of Centerville; Ron Wimmers (Sherry), of Bellbrook, Mark Wimmers (Rita), of Centerville; one daughter, Karen Young (Timothy), of Centerville; her grandchildren, Lauren DeLong, Carla Wimmers, Anna Young and Ben Ballard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Wimmers, and siblings Wilfred Depweg, Raymond Depweg, Viola Strukamp, Doris Overman and Carl Depweg. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 AM, Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at St. Leonard Faith Community Church, 8100 Clyo Road, Centerville, Ohio, 45458, with burial at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Alopecia Areata Foundation, 65 Mitchell Blvd, Suite 200-B, San Rafael, CA 94903.
