Edward C. Terhune

TERHUNE, Edward C., age 93, of Centerville passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013. Edward was born on October 27, 1919 to the late T. Jones and Mary (Glass) Terhune in Dayton. He graduated from Miami Jacobs with an Associate's Degree in Accounting. Edward served his country in the U.S Army during WWII. He retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base after many years of service. Edward loved to spend his time bowling in his bowling league, playing cards and working in his yard. He is preceded in death by his wife, Valerie Terhune; brothers, Jones, Lewis, and Joe Terhune; sisters, Jessie Davidson and Anna Shellabarger. Edward is survived by nephews, Scott (Jill) Davidson, Gary (Martha) Davidson, Bradley Davidson, Rick (Terri) Terhune, and Dan (Ginni) Terhune; nieces, Sylvia Clasen, Barbara (Hugh) Hazenfield, Karen (Michael) Davidson, Cathy (Mark) Alty, Lou Ann (Tim) Bray, Sue (Bob) Crothers, and Elaine (John) Miller. The family would like to send their deepest gratitude to the staff at St. Leonard for all their loving and compassionate care. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, April 1, 2013 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering. Family will greet friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
