age 78 of Beavercreek, went to be with the Lord on Wed., Nov. 14, 2001. He was a member of Far Hills Community Church and a defender of our liberty in the US ARMY in WWII serving in Europe. After 30 years of service as a job setter at Delco Moraine,he retired in 1983. Edward was an avid woodworker and collector of tools and loved gadgets. He is survived by a loving wife of 54 years, Christine; 2 daughters, Brenda Schneider and her husband, Frank and Sherry Reveal and her husband Jim; and 5 grandchildren, Tara Vinson and her husband, Wally, Brent Rambo, Abbie Reveal, Renee Cox and her husband, Merle, and Amy Franklin. Also survived by sister Martha Smith of Knoxville, TN; a brother, Doran Messer of Dayton, many nieces and nephews and a host of close and special friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Burial at David's Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M., Sunday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Far Hills Community Church Building Fund, 5335 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45429.
