Edward J Winemiller

WINEMILLER, Edward J., age 87, of Kettering, entered eternal life on Monday, February 8, 2010. Edward served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired in 1988 from Busch Heating and Air Conditioning, after working there for over 40 years. He loved his family, farming, softball, and bowling. He also participated in the Senior Olympics and was a long time member of Hope United Methodist Church. Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Marietta; son, Terry; and 3 brothers, Donald, Eugene, and Robert. He is survived by his companion and wonderful caregiver, Nita Chuvalas; children, Karen (Jim) Caldwell of Perrysburg, OH, Cheryl (Dave) Jones of Kettering, OH, Roger (Sue) Winemiller of Blanchester, OH, Ron (Barbara) Chuvalas of Riverhead, NY, Jerry (Lisa) Chuvalas of Charlestown, WV, Janet (Michael) Houston of Trotwood, OH; twenty-one grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Annie Ruth Winemiller, wife of Donald, of Batavia, OH; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Special thanks to the staff of Crossroads Hospice in Dayton for their compassionate care. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 12, 2010 at 12:00PM at Hope United Methodist Church, 5980 Wilmington Pike, Dayton. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM till time of service at the church.
