Edward James "Ted" Mcbride

McBRIDE, Edward "Ted" James Jr., age 71, of Washington Twp., passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014. Ted was born to the late Edward and Frances McBride on November 29, 1942 in Dayton, OH. He graduated from Marti High School and was an agent with Don Wright Realty. Ted was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, a member of the Dayton Area Board of Realtors and a past volunteer for Saferides. He is preceded in death by his parents. Ted is survived by his wife of 45 years, Choyce; children, Edward James McBride Jr. of Washington Twp., Michelle Lynn McBride of Starkville, MS and Susan Nicole (Gerald Michael) Bell of North Ft. Myers, FL; brother, Rev. John Carl (Pam) McBride; cousin, Sara McBride-Solarek; brother-in-law, Ronald (Valarie) Fleitz; 4 nephews and 2 nieces. The family would like to thank Kettering, Sycamore and Life Care Hospital as well as Sycamore Glen Nursing Facility for all the wonderful care they gave Ted. A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00pm on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Rd., Kettering. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, April 12, 2014 also at the funeral home. Burial will be at David's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
