Eileen Yvonne Kelly-Mott

Eileen Kelly-Mott, a member of the Kettering community, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025. She was born on January 21, 1941, in Latham, Ohio, to the loving parents Woody and Eulah Davis. Eileen graduated from Belmont High School and dedicated her life to her family, cherishing the moments they spent together.

For over fifteen years, Eileen shared her passion for beauty as a licensed hair stylist. As a talented homemaker, she nurtured her family with love, warmth, and creativity. Eileen's adventurous spirit came alive during the summer months when she enjoyed camping and boating with her loved ones, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime. A member of the VFW and the American Legion 598, Eileen fostered community and camaraderie. Her hobbies included tap dancing, nights out with friends, and tending to her beautiful garden, and spending quality time with loved ones.

Eileen is preceded in death by her parents, Eulah and Woody Davis, and her previous husband, James Kelly. She is survived by her devoted husband, John Mott; her sons, Todd (Angie) Clingman and Tim Clingman; stepchildren Gregory (Julie) Mott and Shelley (Glenn) Safrit; grandchildren Bethany (Victor) Bame, Michael (Jocelyn) Clingman, Samuel (Grace) Safrit, Austin Clingman, and Jesse Safrit; great-grandchild Evan Clingman; and her brother, Edwin Davis.

The family will honor Eileen's life with a visitation at Routsong Funeral Home Kettering Chapel(2100 E Stroop Rd), on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 10:00 AM to Noon, followed by a funeral service at Noon. Eileen will be laid to rest at Mount Zion Cemetery. As we gather to remember and celebrate Eileen's life, we invite all those whose lives she touched to join us in honoring her memory.
