Eileen M. Horlacher

HORLACHER (McRitchie), Eileen, age 89, of Kettering, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2010 at Heartland of Kettering. She was born in Dayton and resided there all of her life. She is survived by her son David; sister Ann Mahrt of Kettering; sister-in-law Mary Bornes of Kettering; granddaughters Lauren Flewellyn of Boynton Beach, Florida and Jill McRitchie of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Keith McRitchie and second husband, Charles Horlacher and her youngest son, Edward McRitchie. Eileen graduated from Julianne High School. She was employed many years with Rikes-Kumbler Company and Winters National Bank. She was also employed by the City of Dayton Board of Elections. She was a member of Ascension Church. Eileen was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many with her delightful sense of humor. She possessed a wonderful positive attitude and was always doing for others. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Ascension Church, 2025 Woodman Dr., Kettering, OH at 10:30AM on Friday, January 8, 2010. Graveside services to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420.
