Elaine Ann Dosser

DOSSER, Elaine A. age 81 of Washington Township, OH, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019. Elaine was born January 12, 1938 to Frederick and Mary (Stoffer) Hundertmarck.

An animal lover at heart, she was devoted to her horses, caring for them and her German Shepherd, as well as other animals on her five acre farm. She also carefully tended to her farm, caring for her vegetable and flower gardens. A woman who loved to be surrounded by nature, Elaine took much pleasure in tending these gardens, enjoying the flowers, birds, bees, deer, and other animals she saw. Elaine worked diligently at Leather Horseman and the Dayton Sports Headquarters. She was a member of The American Quarter Horse Association and Southern Ohio Quarter Horse Association, where she was the secretary for many years. She also helped run miniature horse shows. Elaine was also a member of Black Powder Gun Clubs and assisted in teaching Hunter Education Courses.

Elaine is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 37 years, Larry Dosser “Bear”, and children Jodi (Bruce) Hovden, and Wendy (Dwight) Reed, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
