Elena K. Lonsdorf

LONSDORF, Elena Krautter, age 77, born August 13, 1938, died February 29, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. Preceded in death by her husband Joseph Charles Lonsdorf, her parents Elisa B. and L. Martin Krautter. Born in Milwaukee, lived in Chicago, Hilton Head, Atlanta and Dayton, but her heart remained in Wisconsin, Elena had a talent for all things stylish and beautiful. She is survived by daughter Johanna (Jody) Lonsdorf Roberts of Dayton, son Charles Martin Lonsdorf of Nashville; sister Elisabeth Treadwell and her husband Sandy, sister-in-law Margaret Toennies and her husband Jim; grandsons Joseph Graham Roberts and his fiance Teresa DiCarlo, Noah Martin Roberts and Patrick Charles Roberts; nieces and nephews. Memorial service Thursday, March 3 at 2 o'clock pm at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 33 West Dixon Avenue, Dayton, Ohio. Family will greet friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to local humane societies.
