Elenora "Ellie" Mae Pauley

PAULEY, Eleanor Mae "Ellie" (Shaffer), age 93, of Centerville, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016. She was a graduate of Centerville High School in 1941. Ellie was a member of Jacob Eby Chapter #571 order of the Eastern Star, Dayton Shrine # 13 order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and Azeyah Temple # 57 Daughters of the Nile. She was past matron of West Carrollton Chapter of The Eastern Star and past Grand Electra of the 1990 Grand Family. She retired from Bethany Lutheran Village in 1997. Ellie was an avid Bengals, Reds and most of all OSU fan and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Webster and Florence Shaffer and husband, Jesse Richard Pauley. Ellie was survived by daughter, Carol Ewing; son, Doug (Susan) Pauley; granddaughters, Lyndsey Ewing and Erica Pauley; grandsons, Matthew (Alyssa Vera) Pauley and Aaron (Mckinsey) Pauley; step-granddaughters, Alisha Ewing and Jennifer Perkins and great-grandchildren, cousins and friends. The family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St. Centerville, OH with Pastor Joe Godwin officiating. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, March 14, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial at Heritage Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45409.
