ALBERT, Elizabeth, age 86, of Beavercreek, passed away Friday, February 19, 2010. She was born in Montgomery, LA to the late James Dwight and Maude Mae (Scott) Boston. She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 56 years Ret. LTC Henry Albert. Beth attended Business College in Chillicothe, MO and worked in Abilene, TX until her marriage in 1945 to a dashing Army Air Corps fighter pilot. The couple lived in Virginia after WWII, until called back to service for the Korean War. For the next 20 years, her life role was military wife and mother, moving her family around the U.S. and Europe to various duty stations until her husband's retirement in 1968. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles, politics, and travel to places around the world. She is survived by a son, Don Albert (Sharon) of Barboursville, VA and a daughter, Gayle Doran of Dayton. Beth leaves 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, L. Paul Boston of Sherman Oaks, CA, and preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering, OH 45429. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 25 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment is immediately following at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
