Elizabeth C. ''Betty'' Maher

MAHER, Elizabeth C. ''Betty'' age 77, of Kettering died Saturday, February 23, 2002. She was a 1946 graduate of Denison University and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. Betty was a longtime member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the Alter Guild at St. Paul's. She also founded the The Hamlets in Dayton. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip L. Ward, husband Tom E. Maher and parents William and Katherine (Browne) Camlin. She is survived by: daughter, Diane W. Jones; sons, Phillip C. Ward, Timothy C. Ward, Andrew W. Ward and Christopher C. Ward; 6 stepchildren; 10 grandchildren; 15 step grandchildren;1 great granddaughter; 2 step great grandchildren; sisters, Katherine C. Cooke, Jane C. Tammen and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held, Thursday, February 28 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 33 W. Dixon Ave., Oakwood. Visitation will follow the service in the church cloister.
