Elizabeth Dorothy Scheyd

SCHEYD, Elizabeth Dorothy, age 84, of Beavercreek, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Elizabeth was born November 23, 1937 in Worcester, MA to Ignatius and Monica K. (Serva) Kozlowski. She proudly served in the United States Air Force as an RN. Elizabeth was a member of Incarnation Church, where she was awarded Volunteer of the Year in 2018. She had a green thumb, growing vegetables and flowers, but Cacti were her favorite. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoyed solving Sudoku and Crossword Puzzles. She also loved 25 cent video poker. Elizabeth will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frederic of 50 plus years, and her parents. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Erika R. (Jon) Ross; granddaughter, Monica Wilkes; sister, Evelyn Nieszczezewski, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 21 at 10:30am at Church of the Incarnation, 55 Williamsburg Ln., Dayton, OH 45459. Family will greet friends just prior to the service at the church.
