of Oakwood, passed away Friday, January 12, 2001. She served 38 years on the former YMCA Travel & Adventure Series Program Selection Committee now known as the Kiwanis Club of Kettering Travel & Adventure Series. Elizabeth was also a member of the Aviation Trail, Inc., Advisory Committee and The Dayton Women's Club. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Blanche Hamburger and 2 sisters, Ruth and Katherine Hamburger. Survived by relatives and many good friends. A committal service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 P.M. in the Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave. at Irving with Rev. John F. Edwards officiating. If desired, contributions may be made to the Aviation Trail, Inc., in Memory of Frank Hamburger, P.O. Box 633, Wright Brothers Station, Dayton, Ohio 45409. Elizabeth made this request as her father, Frank, was a friend of the Wright Brothers and furnished some of the hardware they needed when they were inventing the airplane in their shop, which was a few doors away from her father's Hardware Store.
