Elizabeth Irene Drury

DRURY, Elizabeth "Irene," age 86, of Washington Township, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015. Irene was born June 15, 1929 in Jackson, Kentucky to the late Henry and Laura Clemons, and grew up in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. She graduated from high school in Mt. Sterling, KY. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death in 2005 by her husband, Art, of 52 years; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters. She is survived by her children, Bruce (Cristi), Dan (Donna), Carla, and Keith (Karen); grandchildren, Elaine, Luke, Ben, Isaac, Amanda and Evan; great-grandchildren, Emma, Ellerie, Charlie, Henry, Hayden, Ada and Alayla; brother, Howard; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, Ohio 45459. A funeral service will follow, with burial at Heritage Hills Memorial Gardens in Waynesville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 31 W. Whipp Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Wood Glen Alzheimer's Community and Hospice of Dayton for the care they gave to Irene.
