LANE, Elizabeth (nee Clulee) passed away on September 28, 2005. She was born on January 7, 1914 in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from Western College for Women in Oxford, Ohio in 1936. A resident of the city of Oakwood for 57 years, Mrs. Lane taught at Harman Elementary School in Oakwood, retiring in 1983 after 23 years of outstanding service. She brought love and joy to all who knew her and touched the lives of many students as a popular third grade teacher. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Winthrop D. Lane. She leaves behind a loving family which includes 4 children, Stephanie (Ray) Potter, Judith (Philip) Perry, Elizabeth (Robert) Lawson and Arthur (Christine) Lane; 5 grandchildren, Gregory (Ericha) Potter, Douglas (Wendy) Potter, Beth (Allen) Zink, Bradley (Nicole) Lawson, Ann (Chad) Prittie; 9 great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Robert and Ryan Potter, Allison Potter, Griffin and Arden Zink, Lilly and Jacob Lawson, Ella Prittie. Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 4 from 12-1:30 PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave. at Irving. Funeral services and burial will be private.
