Elizabeth Marina Swaney

SWANEY (BelIville), Elizabeth (Betty), age 89, of Kettering passed away peacefully on December 05, 2015. Betty was born January 09, 1926 to the late Maurice & Stella Bellville. She was a 1943 graduate of Patterson Cooperative High School and retired from The University of Dayton's Bursars Office. Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Robert (Bob) Swaney and sons, Tom and Curt as well as her brothers, Maurice, Lester, Robert, Carroll (Butch) and Gene. She is survived by her loving daughters, Lynn (Jim) Miller, Diane (Rick) Thomas and Kim (Eric) Kahkola; grandchildren, Jill Gross, Kelly Wade, Erin Riazzi, Todd and Chad Puchalski and Danielle Marck; great grandchildren, Danielle Stechshulte, Chloe and Allie Wade, Curtis, Ian and William Riazzi, Jack, Leah and Bentley Puchalski and great-great grandson Deacon Stechschulte. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30am on Friday, December 11, 2015 at St. Henry's Catholic Church, 6696 Springboro Pike Miami Twp., OH. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family would like to acknowledge with deep appreciation the staff of Walnut Creek Nursing Home and Hospice of Dayton for their compassion and care.
