Elma Mary Bridges

BRIDGES, Elma Mary, age 94, of Kettering, passed away on Tuesday, April, 14, 2015. She was born on December 7, 1920 in Sheffield, AL. Elma was a homemaker, loving wife and wonderful mother who enjoyed gardening and cooking. She was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Fairborn. Elma was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Buddy Reynolds, Thomas Reynolds and Mack Reynolds; sister, Ester Romans; and daughter, Melba-Jean Bridges. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Ray Bridges; son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Suzzette Bridges; granddaughter, Destiny Voorhees-Bridges; sisters, Billy Reynolds and Evelyn Rogers; dear friends, Raymond and Janie Bolden and family; and close relative, Minister Willie Cobbs. The family will greet friends and loved ones from 12:00pm-1:00pm on Monday, April 20, 2015 with service immediately following at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd, Kettering.
