COPPOCK, Jr., Elmer, 86, of Dayton, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2008 at Dayton-Sanctuary at 10 Wilmington Place. Elmer was a Veteran of the Army Air Corps during WWII. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Engineering and worked at Delco Products. After his retirement, he pursued a 2nd career in farming in Jamestown, OH. Elmer was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Barbara (nee Tyson) Coppock, Sr., daughter, Bonita (nee Coppock) Crouse and sister, Elsie Westfall. He is survived by sisters, Gloria Motko; Edith Harlow; his stepson, Clarence "Butch" and his wife, Cathy Green; son-in-law, James Crouse; granddaughter, Tina and her husband, Doug Kurtz; great-grandchildren, Brent, Becca, Sara, Alex and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 10:30AM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Pastor Ray Tyson officiating. There will be a visitation from 9:30AM-10:30AM prior to the service. Burial will be held at Glen Haven Cemetery in New Carlisle.
