Elvin Dane ''Bud'' Weeks

age 75 of Washington Twp., died Sunday, September 9, 2001 in his home. He graduated from Fairview High School and the University of Dayton. Bud was a WWII Army veteran, serving in the Pacific Theater. He worked at Chrysler Airtemp for 26 years, Dayton, Power and Light for 10 years and was co-owner and founder of Machined Glass Specialists of Springboro. Bud was a member of David's United Church of Christ and the Millennium Masonic Lodge, Scotish Rite and the Antioch Shrine. Preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Ethel Weeks and his wife of 33 years, Betty Custenborder Weeks. Survived by his wife of 18 years, Marge; 2 daughters, Melanie Behm and her husband David and Diana McCormack and her husband Tom; a son, Bill Weeks and his wife Cookie; 3 step-children, Bill Denlinger and his wife Holly, Sue Lopshire and her husband Dave and Phil Denlinger and his wife Debbie; a brother, Roland Weeks and his wife Lorna; a sister, Marlene Harding; 4 grandchildren, Jason Behm and his wife Lori, Stephen Behm and Andrea and Eric Weeks; 10 step-grandchildren, Lisa, Heather, Emily, Matthew and Clinton Denlinger, Mindy and Drew Lopshire, and Seth, Silas and Sarah Denlinger. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday at David's United Church of Christ, 170 W. David Rd., Kettering with Pastor William Youngkin officiating. Private family burial at David's Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.
