age 89 of Centerville, died Thursday, January 10, 2002. A loving and outgoing father who was devoted to family and church, he was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church for 39 years and a member of J.O.L.Y. group at church. Preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene McDonald. Survived by his wife of 67 years, Ethel; a daughter, Emelie Markl of Centerville; son Mark and his wife, Dianne of Marion, OH; son-in-law, Curtis McDonald of Lebanon, OH; brother, Alvin Schuring of Elgin, IL; 5 grandchildren, Wendy York and husband, Greg, Scott McDonald, Lynnore Prexta, Bethany and David Schuring; 4 great grandsons; many nieces and nephews, as well as many wonderful neighbors and friends. Services 10:30 AM, Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 6430 Far Hills Ave., Pastor John Bradosky officiating. Burial Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
