Emily F. Scott

SCOTT, Emily F., age 66, of Kettering, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2008 in Washington D.C. She was a member of St. John Church of West Alexandria. Emily received her accounting degree from Miami Jacobs College and retired from Merrill Lynch after 36 years of service as a Vice President/Financial Consultant. She was a Trustee of the Good Samaritan Foundation since 1991, was on the Board of Governors since 1986 at the Dayton Racquet Club, and supported the Senior Resource Connection, Cox Arboretum, Rotary Club of Dayton, Rotary Inner Wheel and so many other organizations. Emily is preceded in death by her parents Ray and Margaret Sauer and step-son Jeffrey F. Scott in 1997. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Frank H. Scott; brother, Timothy (Carol) Sauer of Janesville, WI; sister, Kathy (John) Benavides of Perrysburg, OH; niece, Emily Benavides; nephews, Brian and Scott Sauer; step-son, Christopher Scott and step-grandchild, Kana Scott. Funeral services will be held Saturday October 4, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Rev. Ronald Dafler officiating. Burial in David's cemetery. Family will greet friends from 4-8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
