Emma C. Moorhead

age 92, of Kettering, passed away Friday, October 14, 2005. She was a member of David’s United Church of Christ. Emma retired from Kettering City Schools. She was a past 50 year member of Harvest Chapter of OES and Dayton Court of Amaranth. Preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence on November 15, 2002; daughter, Joy Golden in 1996; one brother and one sister. Survived by one daughter, Judy (Ronald) Slanker; four grandchildren, Rebecca Slanker, Jennifer (Dan) Kane and their children, Emma, Daniel and Alec, Tami (Jeff) Foster and their children, Ryan and Mackenzie, Ranelle (Mohan) Vaidyanathan and their children, Janani and Virinchi. Also survived by five sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Trinity Community of Beavercreek for all their help and care. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Rev. Rebecca Erb-Strang officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery.
