Emma Jane Sherwood

SHERWOOD, Emma Jane, age 87, of Centerville, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Em graduated from Bethel Township high school. She retired from Universal Atlas Company. She and her husband Frank were joint owners of Kil Kare Auto Wrecking. Em also volunteered at Kettering Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Sherwood, brothers Kenneth and John Smith, and sisters Eleanor Girdler and Dorothy Kovacs. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Barbara Smith and Gloria Clay; brother-in-law, Jay Sherwood as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 11:00am at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E Stroop Rd, Kettering OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 8087 Washington Village Dr, Centerville, OH 45458.
