age 75, of Centerville, died Friday, December 28, 2001. Ernie was a CPA for 50 years and was self employed. He was a 33rd degree Mason and member of George Marshall Lodge, Scottish Rite, Antioch Shrine, Arabic Club, Jesters, and the High Twelve Club. He and Julie were both active in the Tripod Camera Club. He was past president of the Boys and Girls Club and the Senior Citizens in Dayton. During W.W.II, Ernie served in the US Army combat infantry in Europe. He received a Purple Heart for action near the Rhine River. Survived by his wife of 43 years, Julie; 2 daughters, Janie Long, Jennie Guenther and granddaughter, Ginny M. Long, all of Pittsburgh, PA; a brother, Richard Guenther and his wife, Fabienne, of Ft. Myers, FL. Services 7:00 PM, Thursday, January 3, 2002, at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 Stroop Road, Kettering. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:00 PM, Thursday, until time of services.
