Ethel L. Sims

SIMS, Ethel L., age 83, of Dayton passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at her home. Ethel was a graduate from Roosevelt High School, where she recently attended her high school reunion. She retired from St. Elizabeth Hospital after 18 years and prior to that she worked for Knollwood Pharmacy in Beavercreek for 19 years. Ethel was a member of the Retirees Club and Sr. Citizens and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Sims, Jr. in April 2007, son-in-law, Gary Plantz also in April 2007, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Ethel is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Plantz, Denise (Phil) Martinez and Gayle (Rob) Cook; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 16, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Rev. Ward Tilton officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
