age 76, of Kettering, passed away, Saturday, January 11, 2003. Eugene received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education degrees at Ohio State University. He was the supervisor of Industrial Arts in the Dayton Public Schools until his retirement in 1985. He was a longtime member of Lutheran Church of Our Savior. Eugene was a former member of Kiwanis Club and the Kettering Banjo Society. He was a current member of the National Vintage Motorbike Club and the Train Collectors Association and the American Austin-Bantam Club. Preceded in death by his parents, Ida Mae and Foster Woolery; 2 brothers, Forrest and Robert Woolery. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Catherine 'Susie' Woolery; 2 daughters, Jill (Steve) Blauwkamp and their children, Elle, Ana and Alex Blauwkamp; Lizabeth (Erick) Grossl and their children, Samantha and Madelyn Grossl; sister, Mary Jane Heischman; brother, Paul (Nola) Woolery; brother, William (Jean) Woolery; and many other special friends and family members. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 15, at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 155 E. Thruston Blvd. Oakwood, with Rev. Gary Eichhorn officiating. Burial in David's cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5-8:00 PM, Tuesday at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to, Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45401.
