Eugenia (Jenny) Rose Mannarino, 56, of Naples, Florida, passed away late July 9, 2011, surrounded by her family.
She was born December 5, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of late Dr. Antonio and Catherine Mannarino. Jenny was one of four siblings.
Jenny attended the University of Dayton and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She then began a career with Greene County Children Services in Xenia, Ohio. Jenny served as a House Parent; a Group Home Coordinator; a Foster Care and Group Home Supervisor; and an Intake Assessment and Family Assessment Supervisor. Jenny was a member of the Ohio Association of Childcare Workers; the Ohio Association of Social Workers; and an Ohio Certified Trainer of Basic Child Care Course. In 2009, Jenny moved to Naples, Florida to help care for her parents.
Jenny is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Jennifer of Atlanta, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and John Holzman of Bealeton, Virginia; and nieces Christina and Catherine Mannarino of Atlanta, Georgia.
She was predeceased in death by her parents and brother, Antonio D Mannarino Jr.
Due to Jenny’s long-term illness a mass was never held for her mother, Catherine Mannarino. Donations in honor of Jenny can be made to Greene County Children Services, 601 Ledbetter Rd, Xenia, Ohio, 45405. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.routsong.com
