THOMAS, Eugenia, S., “Genie” of Kettering passed away Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Miami Valley Hospital. Genie was owner/operator along with her family of the “Golden Nugget” Restaurant. She grew up at the Golden Nugget and was the heart and core of the restaurant. Genie knew generations of families and her customers became family. If you didn’t know anyone when you entered, you made friends by the time you left. Her life was the restaurant, and her entire family. Genie had a heart of “Gold”. She was preceded in death by her father, Steve W. Thomas; Genie is survived by her mother Bessie Seremetis Thomas; sisters, Stephanie S. Thomas, Alexandra S. Thomas and Stacey (Pantelis) Frangomicahalos; brothers, Gregory (Tammy) Thomas and William S. Thomas; loving nieces and nephews her pride and joy, Steven G, Jonathan G. and Stephanie G. Thomas and Michael P. and Alexandra P. Frangomichalos; special friend and uncle, Nicholas G. Seremetis; dear and loyal friend, Barbara Feldman and numerous other loving uncles, aunts and cousins. The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Romer, his staff and especially nurse and friend, Patty Adams. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Aunnciation Greek Orthodox Church, with Father Mark Emroll officiating. Burial in Dayton Memorial Park. Family will receive friends Monday from 5-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, with Trisagion Prayers at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
