Eunice J. Hale

age 62, of Kettering, died Saturday, June 9, 2001 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Eunice attended Morehead State University and the University of Kentucky, served as Administrative Assistant at the Bergamo Conference Center for Life Long Learning for many years and was presented an ''Employee of the Year'' award. She was also active in the American Business Women's Association, Dayton Alpha chapter, for many years; served as chapter President and was honored by a ''Member of the Year'' award. Preceded in death by her parents, Hugar D. and Dora D. Buckler of Ashland, KY. Survived by her husband of 42 years, William J. Hale; son, Brian L. Hale and wife Rebecca of NV.; daughter, Stephanie L. Paxson and husband Kevin of Bellbrook; daughter, Melissa Demczyk and husband Daniel of Kettering; grandchildren, Madeleine and Dylan Hale, Kara, Ryanna and Renee Paxson, Cassandra McClain and William Demczyk; mother-in-law, Lottie M. Hale of Ashland,KY.; sister-in-law, Joan Loy Stites and brother-in-law, James Stites of Louisville, KY.; sister-in-law, Dorothy L. Cunningham and brother-in-law Alex Cunningham of Ashland, KY.; cousin, Shirley Donaldson of Dayton and special friends, Richard and Sue Barber of Kettering. She was an excellant wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. , Tuesday in Roustong Funeral Home, 2100 E.Stroop Rd., Kettering with Pastor Neil Clark officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M.
