Evelyn Lahm Rodgers

RODGERS, Evelyn Lahm, age 95, of Kettering, beloved wife of 58 years of Edward W. Rodgers, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013. Evelyn was born to the late Frederick and Bettie Lahm on July 4th, 1918 in Chicago, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her daughter, Mary Louise. Evelyn is survived by her son Thomas (Jessica Tovrov) Rodgers; daughter, Betty (the late Darryl) Raimer; and grandsons, Aaron (Zita Brizzi) and Samuel (Kate Seremek) Rodgers and many, many friends, especially Phil and Wanda Cunningham. She was a long time member of the Kettering Sweet Adelines, Dayton Women's Organization, and St. Francis Circle of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church. A visitation will be held from 6-8pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd, Kettering on Sunday, November 24th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon on November 25th at St. Albert the Great Catholic Parish at 3033 Far Hills Ave., Kettering. Burial will be at David's Cemetery.
