Faye F. Carpenter

CARPENTER, Faye F., age 83, of Kettering, OH, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015. Faye was born to the late Dexter and Chloe (nee Clark) Foreman on January 9, 1932 in Tyner, KY. She graduated from Tyner High School and attended Midway College in Midway, KY. Faye enjoyed spending time sewing, cooking, tending to her garden, teaching Sunday school and most of all, spending time with her family. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Kettering and most recently attended Grace Baptist of Kettering. Faye was co-founder along with her husband, Bill, of the original Carpenter's Excavating. Faye is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Amanda "Mandee" Faye Bloomer. She was survived by her loving husband of 64 years, William D. Carpenter; children; Connie (Buddy) Bloomer of WV and their daughter Megan; Cindy (Kent) Stuck of Miamisburg, OH and their children, Luke (Lexi), Blake and Zak; Greg (Barb) Carpenter of Kettering, OH and their children, Ashton (Ryan), Dexter and Cole; Belinda (Tim) Trepanier of TN and their children, Kyle and Chad (Sarah); great-grandchildren, Parker and Presley; brothers, Euel Akemon, Charles Foreman and Russell Foreman; sisters, Dorothy Rodgers, Norma Crawford, JoAnn Eversole, Judy Tillery, Sue Cunnagin and Peggy Cornett; and numerus nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of 10 Wilmington Place and Vitas Hospice for all the excellent and compassionate care they provided to Faye. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial immediately following at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
