Florence Armetha Snider

SNIDER, Florence Armetha, age 93, or Centerville, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011. Florence graduated from Roosevelt High School and worked at Rikes department store as a shoe salesperson. She was an active member of Normandy United Methodist Church, where she helped with the craft bazaar, Hannah group and numerous other activities. Preceded in death by her husband Melvin Snider; and son David Snider. Florence is survived by daughter-in-law Debbie Snider; granddaughter Andrea Snider; and great-grandson Gavin Snider; as well as many friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 5:00-7:00PM at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 1 at 10:00am at Normandy United Methodist Church, 450 W. Alex-Bell Rd., Centerville. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery. Special thanks are given to the caregivers at Brighton Gardens of Washington Twp. and The Hospice of Dayton.
