Florence M Rickard

RICKARD, Florence M., “Flo” age 95, of Dayton passed away Monday June 19, 2006. She was a 1928 graduate of Steele High School, received her Bachelor’s degree in 1932 at Ohio Wesleyan University, attended the New York School of Social Work and served her dietary internship at Miami Valley Hospital. Florence was a member of the College Woman’s Club, Dayton Women’s Club and of P.E.O. at Fairmont Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, D. Hobart Rickard in May, 1978. Florence is survived by her daughters Carol (Stephen) Prevost of Kettering and Marcia Rickard (Dennis Doordan) of South Bend, IN; son Lee (Martha) Rickard of Burnsville, MN; grandchildren, Scott (Jennifer) Rickard of WI, Jennifer Rickard of CA, Matthew (Melisa) Prevost of GA and Daniel (Melanie) Prevost of NY; and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held, 1:00 PM Thursday, June 22, 2006, at Woodland Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor David Bickett officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-7:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
