Florence Margaret Weaver

WEAVER, Florence M., age 93, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012 at Kettering Medical Center, Kettering, Ohio. She was born on May 13, 1919 in Jacksonville, Illinois. Florence graduated from Trotwood-Madison High School in 1937. She retired from the City of Dayton, Department of Street Maintenance in 1980, after 20 years of service. Florence was a member of David's United Church of Christ and Centerville Senior Group. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Alma (Pechman) Hayes Schmidt; husband, Herman "Ham" Weaver; and her sister, Marion Bodiker. Florence is survived by nieces, Kaaren (Paul) Dunlap of Kettering, and Trudy (Gary) Alexander of Arizona; nephew, James (Joyce) Bodiker of Florida; and many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 1:00PM at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Rd, Kettering with Rev. Dr. Brian Newcomb officiating. Family will greet friends at the funeral home from 12noon-1:00PM. Burial in Willow View Cemetery, Dayton. Gifts in her memory may be made to David's UCC, 170 W.
