BAILEY (nee Marchese), Frances E., 83, of Washington Township, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late James and Marion Frances went on to graduate from Queens College in 1966, with a B.S. in Psychology. In 1964 Frances and her husband, Robert Bailey, moved to the Dayton area, where they lived and raised their children for over 50 years. She worked as a teller for Citizens Federal Bank, as well as a weight loss counselor at Nutrisystem. She was a longtime member of the PALs for Life breast cancer support group, and enjoyed counseling newly diagnosed members.
Frances is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years Robert; brother, Joseph Marchese; and beloved cats Butterscotch and Samantha. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Bailey; son, Steve (Florence) Bailey; grandsons, Alexander and Nicholas Bailey.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 4-7pm at the Edinburgh Village Clubhouse, 245 Edinburgh Village Dr, 45458. Burial at Davids Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the Hospice of Dayton home care team (especially Heather, Amy, Dr. Cass, the three Jens, and Renee), and family friends Diane, Carol, and Amy for their loving support and care, allowing her to remain in her home for so many years.
